You may visit WeeklyAd.io without providing any personal information. We do not require users to create an account in order to browse the site.

We may collect limited non-personal information automatically, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages, and general usage data, in order to improve site performance and user experience.

WeeklyAd Android App

The WeeklyAd Android app does not require an account. Your selected stores, onboarding status, and app preferences are stored on your device. Android’s backup service may restore store preferences to another device if you enable system backup.

Product clippings and shopping-list images are stored locally on your device and are excluded from cloud backup and device transfer. You can remove individual clippings in the app, or remove all app data through Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

The app contacts WeeklyAd.io to retrieve store, flyer, logo, and image data. Like most internet services, our hosting providers may receive technical request information such as IP address, request time, and device or app user-agent data for security, reliability, and delivery of the requested content.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the Android app periodically checks for new flyers for stores you selected. Notification history is kept locally to avoid sending duplicate alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in Android settings.

Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Interest-Based Advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site, improve functionality, measure performance, and support advertising.

We may also use Google Analytics and related advertising features to better understand traffic and user behavior, to improve our content, and to support online advertising. You can manage your ad preferences through Google Ad Settings and opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
